Welcome and thanks for visiting.

I started my writing journey as a child and continued my love writing and reading throughout my life. 

I began my publishing journey about a dozen years ago and after an initial negative experience I decided to take charge of my author management and self-publish.

Soon after I decided that I did not want other authors to experience the disappointment I had felt when hiring a company that did not deliver quality.

I studied and practiced Developmental Editing and worked as a Freelance editor for five years before joining with my best friend R.B. Michaels who had experienced the same situation and had gone on to study and work as a Line and Copy Editor.

Now we run a joint editing company so other authors can have quality comprehensive editing at a reasonable price. We added cover art and other services as well.

As an author I write under several names, Laura E. Thompson for all of my Fantasy novels.

My maiden name, L.E. LaBarge for my YA coming of age dramas based on my childhood.

Now I have added a partnership with my second best friend to bring spicy sweet Contemporary Romance novels to readers under the name, L.E. Minx.
